Locked out of my bathroom....please help?

I have one of those push button lock doorknobs in my bathroom. My 2 year old locked it and shut it! I tried a coat hanger, but I cannot get it open!! Any tips?

Should be a small hole in the k**b on the outside.Use a small paper clip,nail etc to put in and open the door..

If none of all that works, the "door jamb" (the strip of wood that the door closes against) use a flat bar and hammer, its pretty easy dont think too much into it. find the staple, or nails that hold this piece of wood on, and tap the flat bar in behind the wood where the nails or staples are, prying gently, not to split the wood. Might have to run a razor knife down the edge to break the paint seal. Take that piece of wood off, and you should  have access to the lock.   Or even more simple, look at the door handle, if you see the screws that hold the door handle together, just back them screws out, and disassemble the handle. On mine you lock it from the inside, but the screws are on the outside, by the way makes no sense, but thats the way it is.

If you cannot get the lock with a tooth pick or kabob stick try the ole credit card method. (Hint: use one you don't need because you may ruin it) Try to slide the credit card in between the bolt and the door jamb. It will work just look at an open door so you can visualize what you are trying to do. Try from dead center as well as trying to slide it up or down.

I don't know if it will work, but I heard it does from various people. Try using a credit card (or a car such as this) and put it where the door would latch, and push, and see if it will open.

If you havent got it open yet, I would take a circular saw to the door and make a nice square that you can reach the k**b with. If its a cheap-o door, you can get another one at Home Cheap-o for 35-40 dollars.

Does it have a hole in the middle? Try a cocktail stick, but aim right for the centre.

There should be a small hole on the door k**b if so you are going to need a small flat tip s***w driver. Just put it in the hole and turn it while turning the door k**b at the same time. If you can not find a small enough s***w driver look on top of the door frame there may be a key. Try all the door frames in your house. It looks like a small wire.
