i accidently left my purse in the car last night with my keys in it, only because i was using my hubbys keys. so he took his keys with him to work, and my keys are still in the car. any ideas? he also has the remote entry button. i heard if you are close to the car with a cell phone and the other person has the remote, it will unlock the car....

  1. Nope that will not work, what year is the vehicle because if it is a newer one you might have free coverage from the manufacturer or from your insurance company as well...............

  2. have your husband bring you the keys on his lunch.  if that's not feasable, have a police officer open it for you.

  3. only if u guys `both have the same cell phone provider.

  4. just call the police, they will use a special tool to open it, then once the car is opened all you have to do is show the cop you drivers license and the car registration. Easy

  5. In most areas, at least one local police officer per shift carries a Slim-Jim to unlock car doors. It's free, and all you have to do is show them some sort of ID once you get into the car.

  6. This is the first I have ever head of this "remote method"

If you try it and it works,,,Would you please email me and let me know it worked??

  7. only if you guys both have the same cell phone provider

  8. about the cheapest way to have that done is have a lock smith come and open it up for you the cell phone thing doesn't always work right,,the fastest way is to get a lock smith to do it,or  a towing company they can open i right up ,and they usually charge around 50 bucks for this, good luck.
