Locked out of my gas compartment in my 02 C240 HELP!

I am trying to sell my 02 C240 and the last guy to test drive it put the keys in the gas compartment (behind the door) and the car locked. I am out of town and my wife has unlocked the car with our spare blade key but we don't have a spare key to run the car. We can't get into the gas compartment to get the keys. CAN ANYONE HELP ME ASAP?

The fuel door is suppose to unlock when the driver's door is unlocked. But, since you are using the blade, the fuel door may not unlock due to the alarm system probably sounding and you need to use the remote to turn the ignition to disable the security system. Unfortunately, if the fuel door does not unlock when you use the blade on the driver's door and you do not have an additional remote, then these are some possible options:

Call MBUSA roadside service at 1-800-222-0100 and they may send out a trained MB technician to you and he may be to open your fuel door for you (There may be a charge for the service performed). If they are not able to open the fuel door, this is your next option:

You will need to go to your local MB dealership parts dept to order another remote key. Order the "NEXT AVAILABLE" key with a blade. You will need to bring vehicle registration, driver's license for proof of ownership and method of payment because you must pre-pay for the ordered key. It will take 1-2 business days for new key to arrive if you order it early enough in the day.
