Locked up for 24 years....?

Why wouldn't the daughter have set a small fire or something???? Surely she could have cut through a ceiling, or drywall or SOMETHING in about 1 week??? I just dont understand this case???

People get nuts when they're kept away from everything.  I'm sure she had no idea wtf was going on.

he kidnapped her when she was what 11? he probably had her brainwashed plus he abused her. he could have threatened her so she wouldnt leave. you never know, but its a sad story & my heart goes out to her and her & her kids.

The basement prison was very well made and soundproofed..  

Still I wonder how she could not have attacked the perp and gotten out...  

It seems that she was very afraid....

Hey at least she had sense enough to put a note in the girls pocket that said help us. There probably just wasnt anyway out for her, and I doubt if she had a lighter handy. And it probably was more like a dungeon than a cozy little sheetrocked wall.  24 years mustve been pure h**l.
