Locker Decor Ideas!?! (QUICK)

Question

ok school is in one week and i need answers quick!! (school shopping tomorrow!!) i'm going into junior high so its the first time I've had a locker!!!! but i saw it today and..... boring dull and gray. well i need ideas... i like all colors except black and the accessories i have right no are blue. ( a mirror and i pencil holder.) but im tryin to convince my dad to go shopping tommorow! so i need ideas...

ok, im going to middle school to, and i got gray wired mirrors9not actual wire, but its made of metal, and and stuff. so i decorated mine,i painted the frame, and then i put paper dots on the holy part. and then, instead of getting a dry erase board, get a mirror, and a expo or a washable marker, and write ur important dates on it, it looks 3 d, and dry erase boards are g*y. and tehn, just put pics of ur friends or something, and u hang cool are fresheners on the hook part, i also got these cool lil shelves they are a life saver, plus  u can put like 6 in a locker, and fit all ur books on them, then just paint it or put stickers on. also, u can put magnets, frames wich pics, of ur family, and then i dont know put up ur name in foam letters on ur locker, but dont make it look kiddy. and there u hav it. but note to self, DO NOT put rapping paper on it, it looks so g*y!!!!!!!!!

Awh, don't listen to those who say that decorating your locker is childish. I usually don't decorate mine, but I admire your creativity. It's good that you enjoy the simple things in life. :)

Well, I think that the mirror and pencil holder are good things to start off with. You should also probably get a shelf that you can put in there, and a couple magnets.

There's so many little things that you can do, but it'll make your locker look so much better.

I suggest putting up some pictures of you and your friends, or pics of things that you did during the summer. You can also make a collage of your favourite celebrities. I know that I'll be putting some pictures of the Jonas Brothers up in my locker ;) aha.

If you really don't like the whole dull gray look, why not use some wallpaper to cover it up? I would suggest just a basic colour, or a simple design like zebra print. :) you don't want anything too tacky.

I'm sure if you use some of my suggestions, your locker will be just fine. :) Just remember to keep it nice and tidy, treat it like your bedroom. :P

You don't need anything for your locker like that. No one will be decorating their lockers. Maybe get a couple of magnets and a photo or two.

i was once like you. eager to start with a locker so i put a lil rootbeer station in mine... that sad thing is u have like 4 mins a day with ur locker and ur tierd and frustrated so well its gonne be a mess

i love decorating my locker 2. but the truth is by the second week of school its all going to be crumbled and barried in the back of you locker. especially if you have to make it across the school. all that stuff really just gets in you way.

I use these to decorate my room, but they would be super cute in a locker.

Take a ribbon and string buttons (you can get cute craft buttons at any craft store) about 4 inches apart.  Then you can wedge 4x6 photos in between the buttons and hang it.  You could probably put 9 or 10 pictures on one string.

page sized posters and a little cady thingy that hangs by ur mirror for everything besides pencils

and hang the posters all over your locker

pics/posters from magazines, sticky notes, an organizer, magnets, you will think of things as the year goes on. You may want to put a good poem in there or something.....

Decorating your lockers is not g*y.  It shows your creativity and ability to think outside the box (AKA Locker). We think it sets you apart. I won't go into too much detail and bore you but everyone LOVED my daughter's locker every year and here are a few suggestions:

*get those batter-operated lights and you push to make them come on, you could put 2 or 3 around your mirror and make it a neat-looking vanity

*decide on a color-theme (blue/brown, green/aqua, pink/brown, black/white, orange/brown) and try and stick with that theme only

*take all kinds of different ribbons and run them through the vent holes and tie them in knots on the outside of the locker. But keep in mind, by the middle of the year, most will have been ripped off by other students.  But teachers and students LOVED this idea and it's easy to spot your locker :o)

*you could buy material to match the theme and cut to fit over your shelves. Attach to shelves with velcro strips (bought in walmart or craft stores)

*yes, wrapping paper can look good if it matches and you can attach with magnets (1st. measure and cut paper, then glue or double-side tape paper to magnet, then attach to locker with the magnets)  You can buy strips of magnets in walmart or craft stores

*those wire baskets are great to hold necessities for you and friends (lipgloss, tide to go, etc).  

*If you keep the basket full of gum this will encourage your friends to hang out at YOUR locker!!  ;)

Why dont u make a collage of your friends pictures, quotes, and other stuff you enojy and hang it in there. It will make it personal and all you really need to do is find some old pictures and old magazines and look through for cute stuff.

Use a lot of magnets - I know this sounds geeky, but it works. You can use a mirror magnet to look at yourself. Pencil holder magnets for holding your supplies. Eventually you'll have to leave your locker, which is why magnets are great for setting up and easily taking them down. I also think that gift wrap would be a little cool, if you tape it on, you can just as easily take it off. Also get a shelf to stay organized (if your locker is large enough for a shelf).

Well....i would put pics of you&ur friends//family. Umm i had a little bullentin board&white board it was little and it was great for my locker. You can buy it at Staples i think. Umm i say put some of ur Celebrity Crushes on it&ur favorite band//artist.

I get J-14 magazines...&&u can buy them almost anywhere. I got the calendar out of it and put that in my locker as well...just because it was colorful. Like my school lockers are red&gray. So it's not to colorful. But good Luck! You can buy alot of Locker stuff at Staples. So trust me. =)

pictures mirrors and a colorful pencil holder and i got a small dry erase board and i saw that they have magnetic wall paper that you just cut and place on your locker and magnets and lots of people in my school decorate lockers and I'm going into the 8th grade

you shouldnt focus on how your locker looks. i would be worrying about how i look and getting to my classes. c

ause i started high school like 3 days ago, and no one decorates their locker, it is over rated and kidish, but i guess you are a kid. so go for it. just make it really colorful but dont over do it. put pictures, magnets, ribbons, magazine articles, stuff like that & u will have the coolest locker in school, lol.
