Locker decor?

Question

Well it is gettin closer and closer to back to school and i was wonderin if anyone had any cute decor ideas for a 13 yr old girls locker but something cheap and easy to keep the books and stuff organized oh and im not in to totally preppy stuff but i do love pink and green together and i play soccer and volleyball so please any good suggestions?

I would get some good stacking wire locker shelves -- measure your locker so you're sure they fit.  Don't skimp and get the plastic ones because they're cheap and the right color.  (My mom did that my 6th grade year and they broke about three weeks in - I had to tape them until she got me new ones!)  You can always get some spray paint or leftover stuff from when you painted your room so that it is the exact color you want.

If you have coat hooks in your locker, see if you can hang your shelf upside down from it.  Your binders may or may not fit up there, but your textbooks will definitely work up there, and then you don't have to bend down to reach them.  then you can line up your binders on another shelf underneath, or you can just line them up on the floor of your locker.  

I would use the shelves for my binders, too, but with all of the sports you do it might be better to have more space for your vb bag.  My sister is in volleyball, and she just uses one shelf because her bag takes up too much space to have any more.

If you have to share your locker, I would suggest getting one of those hanging shelf units that they sell at walmart.  One of my friends bought the half model so that she could hang her stuff from the hook on one side of her locker and have her texts/binders on the other.

Hey, well i have some ideas. the basic stuff actually:

- a mini whiteboard/corkboard

- mirror

- pics of your friends and you

- ribbons/glitter

- pen/pencil holder

i used to decorate my loker with collages and small pieces of artwork...that way...whenever i opened my locker i was greated by the people and things i loved...great way to put a smile on your face
