  4. If you're asking who's better, than Lockyer.  Gidley tends to play great footbal for himself.  He's not greedy or selfish, what I mean is that he does great things but they involve him getting the job done.

    Lockyer can do this too, but his game is also setting things up to happen.  An excellent organiser, great vision, and decision making skills second to none.  He deservedly is the Australian Captain.

    Anyone who says he is lower on the rung to Gidley is just another d!ckhead from down the pub giving his expert opinion, who probably hasn't played the game.

    Look I'm a NSW fan so no favouritism involved but quite frankly Gidley is not in the ball park. Lockyer is the BEST PLAYER in the world.

    He has better vision

    He has more speed

    He has a better step.

    He has a better pass

    He has better leadership skills

    He is as good a goal kicker.

    They are at least equal in defense

    I'll ask you a simple question. You are selecting a team and you have first pick, who would you chose?

    I know who would be my choice and it sure as h**l wouldn't be Gidley He wouldn't be my first choice F/B either. He would probably be my pick on the interchange bench as a utility back.

  6. Its hard, Gidley is an up & commer who is playing good football (skill wise) & Lockyer is too good in all areas (club/rep/state football)

    I have to say Gidley cause Im a NSW fan ;o)

  8. Gids/ Gidley is great & has lots of skills but Lockyer is good to & has more skill as has been playing longer. But Still NSW ROCKS
