Lodgefield Quest to upset Tyrur Djokovic in Night Of The Stars Open 575 at Shelbourne Park
Lodgefield Quest is likely to make things tricky for Tyrur Djokovic and the rest of the pack in Night Of The Stars Open 575, being held at Shelbourne Park on Wednesday, July 4th. Tyrur Djokovic boasts a lot stronger profile, but the punters should
prefer Lodgefield Quest, who is in far better form these days.
Lodgefield Quest came to Shelbourne Park in mid June after performing excellently at Harold’s Cross. He was triumphant in three of the previous four trips there, and it shows how good rhythm he is in. Stepping up to the highest level was no issue for him,
as he sealed an emphatic victory at the start of last month.
In a 525 yards open race, the black dog led the proceedings all the way through, seizing the top rank by eight and a half lengths. After a few brilliant efforts at Harold’s Cross, he could not continue his good work, when sent at this track on June 16th.
The son of Hades Rocket certainly struggled that day, but it does not take anything away from him. He now has a good idea about the track conditions and this increases his chances of coming up with an improved performance this time. There is no doubt about
his racing abilities and he just requires a slice of luck to bag the big prize worth €500.
Among his opponents are: Tyrur Djokovic, Parkfield Harvey, Get Their Mayo, Drumurrer Vixen and Bulls Bolt. The action will be started at 22:10 (GMT).
Tyrur Djokovic is one of the dangerous runners at Shelbourne Park, but since he is completely out of rhythm these days, it is hard to trust him. The black dog could only beat the back marker in his previous appearance here.
Out of others, Parkfield Harvey looks powerful. But, we are reluctant to recommend him, because he was terrible on his return to Shelbourne Park.
Lodgefield Quest is in such a good momentum that no one will be able to stop him from clinching the first position. However, it will be interesting to see how he handles things. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
