Question:

Loft bed and ceiling fan?

We are moving into a new house. I am concerned that with a ceiling in my bedroom it would interfere (or possibly harm me) sleeping in a loft bed. Do you know if this is true or not?

  1. I would try to position the bed so that it is not directly under the fan.  I have seen a little girl stand up on top of a bunk bed and get hit in the head by a fan.  She was okay but it did hurt her, it just left a good bruise on her head.  Because of this I would not recommend doing this in a child's room, but you would probably be okay.  It's not going to slice your head off or anything, could just hurt for a while.

  2. You can only try it out and see.

  3. Don't worry about it, unless your ceiling fan has swords for blades and turns at a tremendous speed, you are completely save.
