  1. Yes they are genuine, have used them myself and saved quite a bit!!!

  2. Yes I used confused.com to change electricity and gas supplies (from British Gas to Atlantic Gas & Electricity) and i am very happy, i have been with them for nearly two years.

I also recently used them to change house insurance (from Tesco to Admiral)

I would recommend confused.com, the only thing i hate about them is there stupid advert on the telly.

  3. From personal experience I would say they are genuine. Which is hard to believe in this day and age.

I have always used them and they always get my the best possible price.

I've made alot of checks. So yeah, you should trust them definatley

  4. Generally they are an indicator of what you might be expected to pay.

It is more important to see the terms and conditions for the offer IE 3 months at a certain rate then a massive hike in prices or a minimum term you must stay with them or forfeit a lot of money

Car insurance in particular will most likely increase when you start to apply as the insurance company will ask more detailed questions to assess the risk.

Personally I would not use Confused .com as they take a commission for the work that they do. Direct marketing firms are often cheaper than referral sites.

After all Confused.com make a profit and guess who contributes to that that!
