Logging driving hours?

Question

well, I just got my permit, and i was wondering what all I have to put in the log book, like I know you have to put how long, but what else do I have to put,....do I have to put where I whent?

btw: this is for the state of AK

You have to put Start time, End time, what you did (Basic Driving, Light Traffic, Highway Driving , etc.) and a general comment on how the driving was.
