  1. Government pay offs.

  2. by just standing around trying to kill animals

  3. Logging is not illegal in all parts of all national parks. Actually it is part of their management scheme. Mature forests do not provide food for deer, elk and other browsing animal. It may seem odd, but cutting some areas provide more food and cover for wildlife than a mature forest.

  4. There's not one thing on this planet you can't get a "permit" for.

  5. Same way you speed or someone breaks into a house- just hope not to get caught.    Are you thinking of national forests maybe/?

  6. Special permits from gov. I live outside the Olympic national  forest and they allow certain types of permits and also timber sales . Mostly the permits are for salvage , there are some sales of standing timber but I think that old growth timber is still protected by national park laws ( not sure on this one) . I have lived in a timber town all my life and believe me their are very few large logs still being logged here. Theres allot of alder pulp wood not too much of anything else
