Logging into a samba share using your Windows 2003 server LDAP Domain login information.?

I am currently working with Suse LES 10 and my LDAP is located on a Windows 2003 Server.. I want to be able to be able to log into a samba shared folder on the Suse OS using my LDAP Windows 2003 server domain login information on a XP machine that is on the network.

  1. For this to work your credentials will have to be stored somewhere on the SUSE OS or it will have to be a member of your domain with you having rights to access it and access to the shared folder. Regardless it has to be a member of your domain as the machine will attempt to check the domain for your credentials before granting you access and if it isn't joined then it will not be able to confirm your identity.
