Logical dreams?

Question

A relative of mine recently died and whenever I dream of him in the dream I am always conscious of the fact that he is dead. For e.g, when I have a dream with him i often ask him "aren't you dead". Has this ever happened to you before? And why I am so logical in my dream? Normally I am not this logical when I am dreaming.

After my cat died I ahd a dream in which I was palying with her. I remeber saying "I never want to wake up, cause you'll be gone." Then the cat said "Time to go" I think. And i woke up, the dream was so vivid and real that even for a few seconds when I was awake I thought my cat was still alive. I am also not usually that logical, or aware, when i dream.  So I guess it only has to do wwith the fact that you miss your relative.

Yes, but often such self-awareness comes right before waking up and it ruins the dream's progress.

Dreams are just that dreams, you use both side of your brain while dreaming, it sould like you relized you were dreaming when that happens do what every you want to do its called lucid dreaming I have the best fun when I am in a lucid dream as you can do anything you want its like having your own holodeck.
