Logitech 2.1 or durabrand 5.1?

Question

I want something for my room: use with my computer, plug into my ihome, use to play with my guitar

I gave my mom a 2.1 for christmas and it works well. I found its about $40.

Then again, the 5.1 is $60 and DOES have a dolby decoder. This is nice because my laptop has a mini-toslink (optical output). Also it allows multiple inputs.

Is it worth running tons of wire around my room for the 5.1?

yup, better sound although, durabrand is a store brand, and thus wont last very long.
