Logitech Quickcam Fusion question.?

I have just bought one of these, and have installed the program which came with it. However, when I try to use the QuickCapture program it says 'Check to make sure the camera is properly plugged into the USB port and then press the reconnect button'

I know that the webcam is plugged in properly because I am able to use the built in microphone with my speech recognition, and the webcam works for Windows live messenger. Yet when I press reconnect, nothing happens and I am unable to record videos or capture still frames.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I could potentially solve this problem?

have u try installing drivers manually?from device manager.may be a bug in the drivers.if not this things buggy
