Logitech Z-5500 Help!?

I bought the Z-5500 for use on my tv. I can't seem to get it to play through non-digital channels, but it plays on the digital cable channels just fine. Any suggestions on how to get it to play through non-digital channels?

If you are using a digital coax or Toslink with your STB, you should be able to get clear stereo and surround sound from all cable channels.

FYI....the Z5500 are computer speakers, not home theater speakers.  I would really suggest buying a HT receiver and solid speaker set.
