Logitech or Altec Lansing?

Overall which is better in audio?

If I were buying a computer keyboard, or a web cam, I would always buy Logitech - they are very good at those things. Altec Lansing are audio experts, Logitech are not (I dont think). I have an ipod dock by Altec, and the speakers on my laptop are Altec Lansing. They are the both fantastic quality. The company is older than Bose, (1927 versus 1964) and I would say that the equipment is equally as good as Bose, if not better in some cases, although it is a personal opinion.
