Question:

Logitech speakers, how come there are 3 different outputs?

I have Logitech 5.1 speakers (not sure about the model), it has three outputs of different colours: black, green, and red. On my new Samsung LCD there are either red and white inputs or a single audio port.

In the manual that came with the speakers it shows an adapter that converts the three outputs into two. Is this what I need to connect my 5.1 to my tv?

  1. Yes, you need that cable. The system is designed to be plugged into a computer. The cable is actually for a video game (and called a video game adapter cable) but will do the same thing for the tv.
