The France international has vowed to earn his place back in the starting eleven both for club and country after recovering from a thigh injury
The 25-year-old has returned to full fitness after recovering from an injury he sustained prior to Euro 2012, and has set his sights on leading Marseille’s attack once more.
Loic Remy feels that he is ready to play regular football after spending last three months on the sidelines, and is hoping to force a move back into Elie Baup’s starting eleven.
While talking to reporters, the former Nice player stated that he miss playing on a regular basis and wants to change that. However, the player knows that Les Phoceens are doing well at the moment and it will be really hard for him to earn a place back into
the starting line-up.
The 25-year-old said that it’s up to him to win back his place and added that he will do everything to achieve that feat.
"I miss playing time but there is a team which is built now, [and it is] up to me to win my position.”
Remy said that he wants to continue from where he left and he feels good about that. The Frenchman claimed that he is slowly returning to his personal best and it won’t be long before he hits top form.
“I want to be a holder; I have to continue on the same way I am here for two and a half years. I feel good, I have good legs. I'm still suffering to concretise chances, but I'm happy."
