The France international has once again stressed that he will not force a move away from Stade Velodrome and is looking forward to see out the rest of the season with the Rhone giants
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the nine-time champions of France in recent weeks. Several top European clubs have shown an interest to attain the services of the highly-rated striker, including the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Sunderland, Newcastle
United and Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
However, the future of the former Nice player is far from certain and according to reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, the player is ready to see out the season at Marseille in case he is not sold in the upcoming winter Mercato.
Loic Remy, who arrived at Stade Velodrome in the summer of 2010, has stated that although a move away from the Ligue 1 outfit would benefit him at this stage of his career, he would be happy to stay at Stade Velodrome if he has to. The player said that he
would be happy to finish the season here and he will give his hundred percent as long as he is playing in OM colours.
"If I stay at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127, I will be most happy to finish the season here", he told his club’s official site.
English Premier League has been touted as the possible destination for the 25-year-old, who was on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur last season. And the striker has admitted that he would love to play in one of the best leagues in Europe.
However, as things stand, nothing is concrete yet and none of the interested clubs have made a formal approach to Les Phoceens regarding the transfer of the player.
"An announcement on my departure, we’ll see. I have not left yet.
While talking about his future, Loic Remy said that at the moment, nothing is final yet and it must not be believed that everything is done.
"We must not believe that everything is done."
Although the Marseille striker has failed to find the back of the net on a regular basis this season, a move to the Premier League is very much still on the cards.
