In a chat with official website of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international Loic Remy reaffirmed his desire to stay at the Stade Velodrome atleast until the end of the current campaign amid strong interest from Tottenham
A spectacular start to the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign has seen France international Loic Remy become one of the hottest French prospects in Ligue 1. The youngster has been constantly linked with a move from Stade Velodrome.
Such has been Remy’s impact for Les Phoceens that English Premier League side Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp had to come see for himself the quality the Frenchman possesses and liked what he saw. However, Remy’s agent ruled out a move away from the Stade
Velodrome this January citing various reasons.
Loic Remy on the other hand, is fully aware of how far he has come but has reaffirmed his desire to stay with Didier Deschamps side – at least until the end of the current campaign.
“I am under contract at OM for 5 years so I want to look good by staying here. I have had contact recently but for me, it’s disrespectful to talk while the club is counting on me,” said the France international.
With the European Championships on the horizon, Loic Remy knows that he needs to play regular football in a bid to secure a place for the mega event co-hosted by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032. And Remy knows that he can’t take chances on his luck by leaving a club
where he is already an undisputed starter.
“my first goal is to continue to settle in this team. I must assert myself in this team where there are very good players. I am proud to play and learn from them. The France team gives me more. There is a big opportunity for me in the France team, I have
a card to play,” said Remy thus clearing things up regarding his future.
The month of January would be a decisive one for Marseille and the club would also be locking horns with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan in the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League. Remy’s desire to stay at the club for atleast this campaign could be a major factor in
where Marseille would finish by the end of the campaign.
