  1. BOTH!

  2. would it be possible to do BOTH? say one1/2 days in each,... I sure would try,.. They are both FAB and you are skimming on time,... decide ad get done with it!! MAte!!

  3. For 2-3 days I would say the Loire valley and its castles. Take your time, rent a car to stop in nice places you see along the way, walk along the river or take a boat trip, enjoy the old towns, visit a castle a day and have a nice meal to top the day (good food there). No stress, no running, and usually a nice weather (the Loire is well known for its mild weather).

  4. From Paris take TGV to Tours, Loire Valley (one hour), Spend one or two days in the region (lot of royal castles to visit and a lot of vineyards).

Then take in the same station the TGV to Bordeaux in the direction of the south (one hour and half I think) and stay one or two days there.  Then come back to Paris with the same TGV on the other way.

  5. Loire Valley all the way!!! There is so much to do and see and it's only an hour away from Paris by train.

    - Chateaux

    - Wine cellars and wine tasting

    - Troglodyte homes

    - Leonardo Da Vinci's last home in Amboise

    - If you have money, a hot air balloon trip above the Loire river

    - Fontevraud abbey, Chinon....
