“To have Pavlyuchenko here in Moscow is a great feeling. We are really pleased to inform you that the transfer is very close. We will sign a personal contract with Roman tomorrow after conducting a medical."
“It was a difficult transfer because they don’t want to lose him at this time.” The president was quoted as saying.
Staying on the topic, Smorodskaya revealed that the entire team is in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 and added that it would be difficult for Pavlyuchenko to participate in the ongoing practice matches.

However, the president refused to discuss the transfer fee involved.
Neither of the two clubs have confirmed the amount but according to some sources, Pavlyuchenko's signing coast them around 8 million Euros.
“I do not think that I should comment on the financial side of things. However, I can tell you that we are negotiating over some other transfers.” The 55-year-old said.
Smorodskaya revealed that the Railroaders have conducted a terrific piece of business by signing the Russian striker and highlighted his Russian Premier League career at Spartak Moscow.
Pavlyuchenko, during his stay at Luzhniki stadium, managed to create a wonderful relation with the fans, scoring 89 goals in 141 appearances.
However, the veteran forward left the Russian top division side to join Tottenham back in 2008. But his stint at the White Hart Lane, besides his debut English Premier League campaign, neither benefited him nor the English outfit.
Smorodskaya tipped the prolific striker to rediscover his blistering form after returning to the Russian dugout.
