Slaven Bilic believes that the new Russian national team head coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello, may select as many as 5-6 players from the Moscow-based club for the national team
Lokomotiv Moscow head coach, Slaven Bilic, has paid tribute to all the Russian national team players at the Moscow-based club, insisting that most of them deserve a chance to play for their national team under the newly appointed
manager, Fabio Capello.
Though http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Shishkin-c31646 were all ignored by
former  manager, d**k Advocaat.
The Croatian tactician is of the view that Capello needs to have a closer look at Lokomotiv’s young players as a potential solution to the Russian national team’s aged squad. Bilic has backed the former AC Milan manager to build
a strong team ahead of the world championship, World Cup 2014.
The fact that Advocaat, who resigned as Russia’s boss to take managerial charge at PSV-Eindhoven last month, selected just two players from Lokomotiv disappoints Bilic, who believes that Capello needs to think before making a selection.
“Many players are waiting for their turn down the pecking orders that might strengthen Russia's national team. I do not want to advertise our players but we have six players who are eligible to play for their national team. If
Russia has better players than these six we have, it means that the Russian national team is one of the best teams in the world.” The Yugoslav Cup winner was quoted as saying.
It seems like Bilic, who joined the Moscow-based club after Jose Couceiro’s shocking departure last month, wants to build his team around the Russian players rather than signing foreign players.
Having already spoken of his unwillingness to keep Portuguese defender, Da http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Senijad-Ibricic-c32897, to Turkish side, Galatasaray this summer.
The only foreigner that the 43-year-old manager does not want to part company with is the Ecuadorian striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Felipe-Caicedo-c13525. The prolific striker has been beneficial for the club, having scored six goals in 17 league appearances.
