Olga Smorodskaya has confirmed that Lokomotiv Moscow are yet to sign a contract with Copenhagen’s Dame N'Doye and commented on Manchester United’s Michael Owen
Lokomotiv Moscow president, Olga Smorodskaya, has revealed that the Russian outfit does not have any right to speak about someone else’s player, insisting that they are yet to sign a contract with Copenhagen’s Dame N'Doye.
Reports in Russian media suggest that the Senegalese striker has undergone a medical at Lokomotiv stadium after completing a 7 million Euros move to the Russian Premier League club.
Some reports also claim that the promising forward has signed a three-year contract at the Moscow-based club and will be getting two million Euros in wages annually. However, the Railroaders are still trying to negotiate a transfer
fee with the Danish outfit.
Though, it is now looking more likely that Lokomotiv have successfully tied  up a deal ahead of another Russian Championship side, Rubin Kazan, Smorodskaya is not ready to announce the transfer unless they sign a contract with
the player.
The Kazan-based club pulled their leg out of the player’s transfer saga, having failed to meet Copenhagen’s valuation of the player.
Smorodskaya has denied that a deal has taken place, requesting the fans to show a little more patience before they announce their new signing after completing a few formalities.
“We have not yet signed a contract with him. We have just agreed with the club. Newbie still needs to undergo medical examination and sign a personal contract.” The president was quoted as saying.
Having already signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Samedov-c4609 from Tottenham Hotspur and Dynamo Moscow respectively, Slaven Bilic has requested Smorodskaya to let him sign the versatile forward, N’Doye.
The former Panathinaikos striker, who scored 18 goals in 30 league appearances last term, also wants a way out after his side failed to earn European qualification previous season. N’Doye, meanwhile, has scored a total of 82 goals
for the Danish club in 150 appearances.
Commenting on Railroaders interest in Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Owen-c25355, Smorodskaya has insisted that the Moscow-based club are considering several names at the moment and they are expected to sign a striker in the coming week.
