go to ur e-mail and then click on it and go to apperal to change it, after ur done click "save changes"and then "add to favorites"

i dunno because are you talking about on IM or this or what, but i am having a hard time trying to figure out how to change my avatar from a picture to the yahoo avatar

juz go to your profile and edit it....

Go through you profile and click edit where change of avatar is required and follow instructions from the site regarding the changes of avatar.
