My Aunty and uncle in Palmeston North left to live in sdyney a while back (2 months). My uncle got a job over there and wanted to go. My Aunty didn't really want to go and she still loves nz at heart. This song sings her situraton perfectly lol!

yep i can see the relation between the song and your aunty, though i suppose anyone would feel like that who has had to make a change in life.

though i wouldn't say its about your aunt letting down P.Nth, its more like your aunt knows how much she liked P.Nth now that she has left.

Its like: you don't know how much you love something until you've lost it.
