The Gold Cup is a major tournament. When you lose, you always make up excuses saying the USSF bribed the referees. Overall record is meaningless (majority of those matches happened when the popularity of soccer was really low). You play against the current team not against a team's history.

Pretty much what EC said.  We won the Gold Cup, and I believe we beat you in the final.

Overall, you may have been better, but recently our record is better against you.  US soccer is improving a LOT, and our recent friendlies against the big teams has proven this.

united states players dont have the soccer blood that european and south americans do. the united states will never in 10000000 years win a world cup... their team barely makes it to the 2nd round of a world cup... the us team will maybe improve but all the rest of the world are superior to usa soccer. the us may beat mexico in these matches. but i want to see them beat brasil, argentina, uruguay, italy, germany, and france.... didnt think so....well im not saying this to protect mexico... beacuse them also will never win a world cup.. their soccer like the us will never grow..
