I really want to live in a big city so I've narrowed it down to these three. What are the crime statistics of each? Also which would be cheaper to live in?

  1. London!

New york is cheapest but has more crime

  2. Tokyo is the safest city but it's very expensive (groceries, housing!!!!). There's little diversity and people are not as nice and open to foreigners as one might expect.

London is expensive but has very exciting environment. It has jobs, diverisity and a lot of things to do and enjoy and it's pretty safe.

NYC is the most ''dangerous'', but much better than a 15 years ago, and housing can be pretty good and not that bad if you don't mind a little 20-30 minute subway ride to outer boroughs.

NYC is the least expensive, I believe.

  3. Tokyo is the safest and New york the cheapest.  However, if you do not come from any of these countries, it will be difficult to move to them without a job.  Especially Tokyo, as English is not that widely spoken outside of multinational companies.

  4. I think crime in new york is the greatest. london - 2nd

london is awefully expensive to live in.

i think cheapest would be tokyo

  5. They are all expensive places. I'd say you should take London off the list. I hated the weather. It's so random it's annoying. One minute it's freezing cold and the next it's blistering hot. If you were going to choose a city between Tokyo or New York, I'd have to say Tokyo. New York has a relatively higher crime rate.

  6. London would easily be the most expensive especially now theres a congestion charge.

Id say London has a higher crime rate

  7. new york is the mug city but it is cheapest and you can speak english here

  8. They're all going to be expensive, espcially London.

I'd say New York though. Unless you know how to speak japanese, I wouldn't recommend living in Toyko. It's a very hard language to learn.

And New York actually has a very low crime rate. The high crime thing is just a misconception (although there are definitely parts of NY that are crime infested).
