I arrive at London Heathrow at 21:00 on a Wednesday night in late June. My hostel is in Notting Hill, more precisely 24 Ladbroke road, Notting Hill. What is the fastest and cheapest way to get there? How long and what is the cost?

  1. get the picadilly easy bound towards cockfosters, then get on the district line at earls court, and its about two ot three stops after that.Cheapest way is to get an oyster card, but failing that a ticket at that time of day day should be about £5

  2. The Easiest and cheepest way is through the underground system. There are 3 stations at Heathow, Terminals 123, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 from which ever is nearest get on the underground and go Eastbound on the Piccadily Line (Navy Blue) all the way to Earl's Court, This should take 39min. Then once at Earl's Court change onto the District Line (Green) northbound to Nottinghill Gate, this will take 7min giving you a total of 46min (approx) traveling time. Once you are at Notting Hill Gate it is time to walk a very very short distance.

    Good Luck And Have Fun!!!!!

    The Links below show:

    a) google map - Where 24 Ladbroke Road And Notting Hill Gate Station are.

    b) underground map - Showing you where you will travel to and from. Heathrow (Bottom Left Corner) Notting Hill Gate (Mid West). For an underground map on the day you can get one from the station at Heathrow, this will be handy on both present and future london experiances and could also be a souvenir.
