Hi, Please help me, im going to London next week for the first time and I will be getting off at St Pancres station, please tell me how and what tube stations i have to go to to visit some nice places like Buckingham Palace, Harrods, trafalgar square, Arsenal soccerball stadium and other places please? If I do get lost will it be dangerous or can I ask people/stewards to help me out and get me back to St Pancreas station. Thanks, Please tell me how much money roughly I would need for a day trip

thanks

  1. Buckingham Palace- Green Park or Victoria tube stations

    Harrods- Knightsbridge tube station

Trafalgar Square- Charing Cross tube station

Arsenal Stadium (Emirates Stadium)- Arsenal or Finsbury Park tube station

You can ask people working at the station if you get lost, or people in the street who don't look like they're particularly rushed to get anywhere. I would advise against asking anyone who looks like they're in a hurry.

You would need at least £30 (minimum) for a day trip, once you've bought a travelcard, food and drink, paid entry into places e.t.c

  2. For getting around London you will find a great deal of help and underground maps on this website :-

    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/

it's the site most Londoners use

If you do get lost then during daylight it is quite safe to ask almost everyone - just be a little wary after dark if the person looks untidy.

  3. google 'route planner' and you can get all the right tube stops for what you want to see

when you get off at st. pancras get a tube map and carry it with you all the time. usually if you walk for long enough you will find a tube station and if you've got a map you can get to where you want somehow.

it's fine to ask people just not if they look obviously dodgy.
