London Olympics 2012: Lee Hyun Il thumps Jan O Jorgensen in Men’s Singles pre-quarter-final
Korea’s veteran player Lee Hyun Il displayed a staggering performance and reached into Men’s Singles top-eight round after thumping Denmark’s talented shuttler Jan O Jorgensen in pre-quarter-final battle at the London Olympics 2012 in England, on Wednesday,
August 1.
The World Number 10 Lee Hyun, who has been seeded at number seven in main draw of Men’s Singles, proved that growing age does not have any effect on him as he played aggressive badminton and easily tamed the young Jorgensen in a phenomenal manner.

However, it was the Korean player who managed to take a reasonable lead until the break by playing well at net.
After the interval, Lee Hyun continued his positive and safe play without giving any room to his opponent and eventually took a superb advantage in this contest by grabbing the first game with a decent score of 21-17.
In the second set, Lee Hyun became confident as he showed no sign of pressure on court and played all of his shots freely.
The seventh seeded Korean played was in good position until the end of opening half as he took a good lead.
After the break, Lee Hyun raced away without showing mercy to his rival and ended up the set with a huge margin of 21-13.
