  1. You will freeze your knickers off.  No kidding they get terrible weather.  One minute it is raining, then fog fog fog and then sleet and then , hold on,  snow by the sky full.   Driving is very challenging  and the city or town (it is quite small 300,000) is very boring.  If you like walking around the streets then you will have a good time other than that forget it.   It is as far away from the British life as you can get.  If you want to live in Canada but maintain a more suitable way of life (a la London Eng.)  as far as weather and life-style goes , then go to Victoria , BC .  That is England  personified in Canada.

  2. I live in London, Ontario and love it.

It really doesn't get too cold here. Maybe -20 on the colder days, but usually in the single-digit negatives. Also there's not a ton of snow aside from a few storms now and then.

We usually get the first snow around October/November, and the last about April/May.

  3. I live here in London Ontario.   Our winters vary so much from year to year, sometimes very frgid  probably averaging about  -10C other years a  not quite so cold.  If you check theweather underground site and scroll down there is an almanac for past years.   Brrr!
