We are planning a whole day of surprises for a friends birthday and would like to start with breakfast at about 8.30am on Saturday. Preferably close enough to get to Canary Wharf by 10.15am for the next part of the day.

Doesn't have to be too flash - a nice cafe/greasy spoon would be great

Many thanks if you can help.

Here are some lists of breakfast places to go to. Although when not turn up at the Borough Market - it starts very early and eat there - that way you a visiting another "activity" as well. It's wasy to get on the Jubilee line to canary wharf from london bridge.

  2. Smiths of Smithfield do a very nice breakfast - or you could try any of the nice caffs in Spitalfields market - highly recommended!

  3. Why Soytenly! I recommend, "Pip Pip & Cheerios Place" Ayy What?

I'm most positive that you'll find it a positively smashing place for breakfast old boy... so enjoy, and give my best regards to Spiny Norman, Dimsdale, Ken Cleanersystem, and the Boringfatuglyolds...:) LOL and unless you're familiar with Monty Pythons Flying Circus, then you'll have no clue what so ever as to the meaning of my Silly answer:)

  4. the best place EVER is called 'fiesta' its in the Roman road market, and you can get here by jumping on a 277 bus.

it does everything from pizza, to pasta, to chips eggs and kippers.

it's amazingly good value for money.
