Adams Park based English professional rugby union side, London Wasps, has signed the talented international prop, Guillermo Roan. Wasps had initially handed over a six-month deal to Roan. However, provided his successful performance in the first six months
of the 2011/12 Premiership season, the contract can be extend up to two years. Officials at the club have confirmed the signing and the details of the contract with the impressive young prop from Argentina on the clubs’ website on Thursday, June 16.

for me and I hope I can impress enough in the first half of the season to secure the longer term deal.”
London Wasps Chief Executive Officer Chris Thomas has welcomed the youngster to the club and expressed hope that Roan will further develop his skills. Thomas said, “Roan is an exciting young player with a lot of potential and he has been picked out in Argentina
as one to watch. Everything we have seen and heard about him suggests he has all of the potential to develop into a prop of the highest quality and we’re looking forward to him joining the squad.”
La Plata born Roan currently plays for the Argentinean professional rugby union Buenos Aires based club, La Plata. Besides representing Argentina’s Under-20 squad in the Junior World Championship, he has also been part of the senior Pumas. At the U20 level,
