  1. The No 24 goes from Victoria Station along by Westminster Abbey, Big Ben up Whitehall to Trafalgar Square and it goes from there up Charing Cross Road (Leicester Square & Chinatown are on the route) to Camden and it terminates at Hampstead Heath.

Edit: Paco, there is no 21 bus route on that map, great map though

  2. That sounds like the 23 bus route. It runs from Westbourne Park to Liverpool Street.

The 'sightseeing' stretch takes in Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, The Strand (theatres), Fleet Street (royal courts of justice), St Paul's Cathedral, Mansion House (lord mayor's official place) and Bank (as in 'Bank of England').

Oh, it could also be the 11. That shares the 23's route between Bank and Trafalgar Square, but then it heads south down Whitehall (Horseguards' Parade, Banqueting House, Downing Street) to Parliament Square (Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, then out west by way of Westminster Cathedral to Victoria. If you stay on it, you can hop off in Chelsea (Sloane Square) for some very mwah-mwah (kiss-kiss) shopping. =D

Either of them make brilliant cheapie tour buses. You can see both routes (and others, if neither of those is the one you have in mind) here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/c...

    EDIT:

Transport for London have hung on to a handful of proper Routemaster buses to run on 'heritage routes' -- on the number 9 route between Aldwych and the Albert Hall, and on the number 15 route between Tower Hill and Trafalgar Square. I'm not sure if the new "low-emissions zone" has dealt that a death-blow, but it's certainly worth checking.
