Hi, next week i have to go to Kings College hospital in london. I will be arriving at london paddington by train.

it looks like the nearest train stn is denmark street but this will take 45 min from paddington ---is there an alternative, i will be pushed for time and need to get around quickly. (after hosptial to oxford street and then back to paddington stn)

  1. Not Denmark Street!

    Denmark HILL!

  2. No, the train to Denmark hill will definitely be the easiest, and quickest way. The hosptial is only about 5 mins walk away, so I would go for that.

  3. It's not going to be any quicker, even if you splash out for a cab. Paddington is on the other side of London and Kings College Hospital is in a quite congested area, traffic wise. It's a short walk from Denmark Hill train station but many buses stop outside.

I suggest you book yourself on a later train back if at all possible to save yourself from a really stressful journey and the risk that you may not make your connections.

  4. I get the underground Northern Line to Elephant & Castle then the bus. Should take around 45 mins. Have a look at www.tfl.gov.uk and use the journey plannner
