I am going to London next week and I have no idea what to wear. We will be doing lots of walking so I want to stay cool. Any ideas? And what is the average temperature in early July? Thanks.

  1. Go to Weatherchannel.com and put in the city you would like to visit. You can get daily,10 day and monthly averages. Unless there is a heat wave take a jacket and umbrella with you. I would still take one. You can almost always bet on it raining there.

  2. A jacket and umbrella!  In July!!  I'm not entirely sure the user above has actually ever been to London!  July is one of our hottest months and whilst last summer was a bit of a let down the temperature can easily get into the 30's (I'm not too good on conversions, but I think that's somewhere in the 90s in Fahrenheit).  Even when it's not that hot the tube can still get really stiffling so you certainly don't want to be walking around with a jacket.  It's probably best to bring typical summer wear - shorts, t-shirts, flip flops (with a good, thick sole to keep comfy when walking), but also bring a couple of cover-up items such a sweatshirt as the nights can sometimes get a little chilly if it hasn't been too hot during the day.
