If this is true I don't see how it can change things, there are always people around even out side my flat in Kensington at 1 last night there were cars and people walking about. Where did you get this info from?

They may be saying that more people are moving away due to the scare of knife crime (which I think is stupid of them, you can't run away from these things, just lead a normal life)

but people are always moving back in!

I think if 8 million people got evacuated it would be SHOCK HORROR  HEADLINE NEWS all over the globe, not a rumour  that some kid off the Internet heard about.

When you posted this it was the early hours of Sunday morning in London, apart from the insomniacs & some party maniacs, I think the rest of us were in bed.
