Question:

London or Dublin?

Which one would you choose to live in? I have been living in Dublin for two years. I know London as a tourist, though. So I don't have the same point of view from both cities. I am thinking in moving to London or Thames Valley area (and commute) as an experience.

For those who know or have lived in either cities, what are the pros and cons of each one? Which one would you choose to live if you could do so?

  2. Dublin is far better than London! if you go to london the wages are a lot less!! i lived there and have moved to dublin and i love it here because i actually have money for a change which i didnt have when i lived there as every penny i earnt went on rent and bills!  the one good thing about living in london is the fact that the health service is much better, at least you dont have to pay to see someone over there just pay for whatever treatment you get!

  3. Dublin is great as i'm sure you know as you've lived there... don't know enough about london to judge, but i'm a great believer in experiencing as much as possible (you only have one chance)... london may be exactly what your looking for and if you don't try you'll never know.

  12. I've never lived in either of them but I've been to both and I would go for Dublin because of the people there, the cockneys tend to not speak to you  unless they can't get out of it, whereas the Dubliners  will talk to you all day, it's a much friendlier place.
