  1. Hammersmith? £200 a week? The queue starts at Birmingham.

Sleeping on the pavement in Hammersmith costs more than that.

  2. when you get over here. get a copy of " DALTON'S WEEKLY"  its a paper with property to let (in all areas).

  3. check findaproperty.com

  4. go to http://www.rightmove.co.uk/

You can search for houses for sale and rent all around London

What I do it click on a central tube staion eg covent garden then put the distance to 10 - 20 miles then it shows me all the properties that fit my needs with in 20miles of that area or more or less. It may take some time but eventualy you'll find a gem, keeper, the house which is right for you!

    Hope this helps!

  5. You should try looking around Queens Park/Kilburn/Kensal Green/ Willseden areas. They are really nice and you can find a good bargain there.

  6. Use Rightmove.co.uk - they have a big rental section and you can put in various requirements to save you from having to trawl through all the unsuitable flats.

Just had a quick look and there are loads in the up to £1000 per month range.

  7. try to look here www.gumtree.com there are a lot of advertises!!

  8. As others have already said, you won't find a studio flat in Hammersmith (or anywhere else in London) for £200 per week.

But flat-shares / house-shares are within your budget, with decent sized rooms going for £750 per month and under. May be worth doing even as a short-term measure, while you find friends to rent a flat together.

Spareroom and Gumtree are two good sites to browse on: here are their links:  http://london.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/...

    and

    http://www.gumtree.com/flatshare/Hammers...

Good luck with finding your new home.

  9. It will cost you more than double for a studio in Hammersmith. Prices might be a slightly lower in nearby Shepperd's bush, if you are not fussy.
