London restaurant recommendation - looking for somewhere with particularly nice setting - budget £50 per head

I have already asked a similar question but didn't phrase it so well - but thanks to those answering. It's a birthday occasion, looking for somewhere as fancy as possible, we don't get to eat out that much! Somewhere appropriate for a quiet, intimate night for two

Not exactly intimate but "Jack's Place" York Road Battersea - great steaks, fantastic atmosphere.  It looks very unprepossesing from the outside but you won't regret it .

I was looking for something similar last week and a friend recommended Gaucho, Argentinian steak houses.  They have different locations and apparently very good food.

Great to get an opportunity to recommend my favourite restauarant in London. It isn't very central but not too far from Upper street in Islington if you want a pre/ post dinner bar.

I can't recommend Morgan M highly enough. Wonderful French food where the chef's personal touch will make your evening very special. Have a wonderful night.

Rodizio Rico - it's a brazilian restaurant and the food is great.

There is one @ Bayswater and one @ Highbury & Islington ( Upper Street ). But it's too loud and lively for a boring night for two, sorry. Maybe you could try on a different occasion.

The Oxo Tower is fabulous!!!! They have the restaurant and brasserie.  The brasserie is less formal, and I think slightly cheaper but ith the same impecable service.  It would make a really great bithday suprise.  It is in the top of the oxo building on embankment so you have the views of all over london while you eat. VERY romantic
