Londonticketexpress anyone else in s**t?, A friend paid £170 x 5 for 'V' festival and it looks like they wont get the tickets, paid by credit card on pay-pal , will they get the money back?

I bought 2 weekend with camping tickets for V-Festival from londonticketexpress. I paid £335 for them through ebay, using paypal. I used my debit card though so don't know how I stand. I bought the tickets back in March and  only found out it's a scam yesterday.

I've been it touch with paypal and have lodged a dispute claim. Still waiting to hear from them as it could take 30 days for an answer!

Maybe your friend will get a refund if they phone their bank, could be covered as it's a credit card.

PayPal do offer payment protection, its why I always use it.

Wait to see if you do get the tickets, most places only send them out a day or two before the event. Tho I do reccomend never buying from places you dont fully trust.
