  1. Most trains from the southwest come into Waterloo Station, and most trains headed north leave from King's Cross. The stations are over 2 miles apart so you it is a long  walk . Look for signs for the Northern underground line . The wrong direction will have signs that say "To Kensington", get on the Northern Line going the other way. Get off at Euston station.

    --------

From Euston Station it is about 600 yards to King's Cross Station. If you don't have heavy luggage you might enjoy this walk. If you are tight on time, then switch to the Victoria Line in the direction of Walthamstow Central and go exactly one stop.

  2. its the northern line  that s all i know lol

  3. Don't worry too much, you just need the Northern Line, and change to the Piccadilly Line at Leicester Square toward Kings Cross / St Pancras.

Directions to the platforms and the line you're looking for are well marked at stations, and on the trains there are maps to show you where to go and announcements that let you know where you are, and which lines you can change to.

Have a good trip, don't stress, and if you get stuck, ask someone and they'll be more than happy to help (Londoners aren't half as rude as people make out!)

    Enjoy your trip

  4. As soon as you reach Waterloo. Head towards London Underground section of the station. There you should go to the and buy an adult day travelcard zones 1-3 which costs £5.90

Follow the signs saying to Northern Line which is colour black. You want to catch a Northern Line ''''Northbound''''' so look out for '''Northbound Platform' once you get to that platform make sure you are in the right place and ask someone is this train heading to Euston if so stay there and wait for the train.

Once on the train get off at the 6th stop which will be called Euston.Once out the train on the platform look around for the sign saying Northern Line or way out and look for Northern Line Southbound via bank. Instead ask someone to direct you to Northern Line Southbound via bank.

Once you make it to Northern Line Southbound via bank platform get on the train and get of the next stop and your in Kings Cross & St Pancreas station. Once on that platform look for the way out to St Pancreas station or if you want to leave I dont know if this is where you are expecting to leave the station or not but Ive told you how to get there if that helps

On the day I advice you to get one of these maps

  5. I do not think you can get from Waterloo to St Pancras on the tube in one hop without changing trains.  Because you can change between various tube lines, there are several ways of getting there.

Do not worry.  It can be done.

    Option 1:

If you catch a train on the northbound Northern Line, heading towards Edgware or High Barnet.

    Get off at Euston.

At Euston, you should be able to change platforms for another part of the Northern Line, heading south towards Morden *via Kings Cross*.  Take any train as far as Kings Cross.

Kings Cross shares its tube station with St Pancras, its next-door main-line station.

To save changing trains, you COULD just leave the station at Euston, go out to the main road outside and turn left.  St Pancras station is about 5 minutes walk away along this road (Euston Road).

Option 2 (which I think is easier):

From Waterloo catch a northbound tube on EITHER the Northern line or the Bakerloo Line.

    Travel one stop to Embankment.

    Change to the Circle Line.

Catch an eastbound Circle Line train via Liverpool Street (Not a District Line train that calls at the same platform and shares the same track for a while).

Get off after about 11 stops at Kings Cross.

St Pancras station is right next door.

Edit:  Sparky's suggestion works fine too.

  6. From London Waterloo to London St. Pancras - take the Tube - the Jubilee Line to London Bridge and change to the Northern Line going north - the stops between London Bridge and Kings Cross/St. Pancras are - London Bridge, Bank, Moorgate, Old Street, Angel - next stop is Kings Cross/St. Pancras - all one station - alight here.

Here's the London Tube map to help you.

You will not get lost and you can pick up a picket edition of the London Tube map at any London Tube station.  Get one when you arrive at Waterloo - you'll find them in a rack in the UndergrounD Station ticket hall.

  8. From Waterloo Underground Station:

take the Bakerloo Line towards Queen's Park, Harrow & Wealdstone Station or Stonebridge Park to Oxford Circus

From Oxford Circus take the Victoria Line towards Walthamstow Central or Seven Sisters to King's Cross St Pancras.

Walk to St Pancras (it's just around the corner)

  9. Waterloo to Kings Cross St Pancras is as follows:

Northbound Northern Line to Leicester Square

Northbound Picadilly Line to Kings Cross

    it's about 15/20 mins.

  10. you need the northern line that termiates at High Barnett, getting off at Kings Cross/St pancras.
