How is the weather during Sep-Dec and Jan-Mar in London?

When does the Winter start? October? How long does it stay? March?? When does the summer start in London?

Does it rain any time of the year? Will an Umbrella be enough?

It rains ALL the time in England - you can't go wrong carrying an umbrella with you most of the time.

In early September it could still be quite warm, but by mid October it'll be quite chilly. It will still be quite cold mid March. I would say summer doesn't start until mid May
