London- what to do where to stay who to chill with?

ok my family might build a house and it would take a long time since the plans are for a big one, im trying to talk my mom into letting me enroll in online ed. or a hot british guy for a tutor(jk) and then the family travel. Im the only one in school. I need to know a hotel where we can stay(please nothing modern) and if it can be like for a month or two. then i need to know where to hang out and what would be fun and where to meet friends thanks!

Top tip? It's right by Trafalgar Square, you can't get much more central than that!
