Lonely Boy likely to prevail in Bettor.com Exchange Stayers Trophy
Lonely Boy is expected to win the Bettor.com Exchange Stayers Trophy at Shawfield in England on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR race will bag a cash prize of £150.
The race is scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT and six entries have been confirmed for it. The names of these runners are as follows: Lonely Boy, Anfi Gem, Glenbane Mile, Leemount Bojan, Moorfoot Maggie and Blue Ivy Hill.
The bookmakers have full faith in the abilities of Lonely Boy, who looks in very good shape at the moment. He has been doing a few solo runs at different venues, but lacks race practice.
C. Lister’s trainee has got a lot of experience and has proved to be extremely competitive since making debut in the sport.

Lonely Boy struggled to make an impression, when he last raced in this class. Despite being the favourite to win, he finished sixth overall. His team would have been extremely disappointed, but he has a chance to make up for that today.
Today’s favourite hound is the son of Digital out of Moss Jumper and was born in November 2008.
The bookmakers also expect Anfi Gem to be competitive in this race, as he has been performing well over the past few months. He has consistently managed to trouble his rivals at different venues, thus the bettors will be encouraged to risk money in
his favour.
C. Redden’s trainee is known for his good stamina and he will definitely cause a few problems for the favourite hound.
Anfi Gem is the son of Hondo Blade out of Blue Honey and was born in June 2008.
Overall, it seems that no one will be able to challenge Lonely Boy and Anfi Gem at Shawfield today, as they are in terrific form right now. Both will fight for the top position and it is hard to predict whether who comes on top.
On the other hand, rest of the hounds will be fighting for the third place, as it will be quite hard for them to challenge the top two favourites. However, Glenbane Mile and Leemount Bojan are good runners and might surprise one and all at the end
of the day.
