Question:

Lonely and Home Schooled

Well, within the past few weeks I've been growing more and more lonely,I moved sometime back in December, and since then I've been home schooled. We moved to a fairly rural area in PA, and I can't drive yet, I'm only sixteen and the driving age is seventeen out here.

So I'm feeling lonely and can't visit my friends much even though we only live an hour away from each other. I don't really know what I can do to meet people, or date people and stuff like that.

What adds to my problem is that I'm transitioning to FTM, meaning I obviously haven't gotten surgery but I identify as male. (One of the many reasons why I'm home schooled)

I'm just asking for some advice, teen sites to meet people and stuff like that. The only person I could consider a friend around here would have to be my private tutor and I only see him two or three times a week.

  1. Hello, You'll be fine.

As a youth worker I've worked with several TFM's and it's tough. I've experienced it. Firstly let me say how impressed I am at your bravery.

You'll do well to establish a network of teens who feel just like you and hey, don't let the turkey's get you down.

You're entitled to be just how you feel :^)
