Lonely guinea pig?

Question

I'm looking for ways to spice up my pig's cage. She is looking a little lonely. I know that I should get another companion for her, but I can't. So I was looking for some toys or games that I could play with her. Or some cool stuff that I could put in her cage, without going to the pet store. I want stuff that I can find right at home.

what you should do is on google search guinea pig secrets there is a person that helps with all that stuff so you can do that or  there is a special place that sells guinea pig toys they have a full money back gurantee because guinea pigs have to have a specific type of toy if you are stressed out guinea pigs will be more less likley to be happy so if thats your problem just be nice to it all the time

my guinea pigs like to have bricks that they like to sit on, pvc pipes to run through, some like a ping pone ball or a tennis ball to push around with there nose (mine don't care about balls), paper towel rolls for them to sniff and throw around, card board boxes, paper bags so that they can sit in them,  pine cones that they can chew on (they should be sterilized first by being baked for 20-30 minutes at 200° also they do not have the pine betting risk),  mirrors to look at them self,  branches to chew on (apple or oak is best).  You can also try looking at ferret, rabbit, bird, or cat toys.  flore time is were mine have the most fun which the should have at least once a day.      

(DO NOT USE GUINEA PIG WHEELS OR BALLS, they only sell them cause people will buy them but they can damage there feet and the guinea pigs 95% of the time don't want to use them)

Toilet rolls stuffed with hay and a treat inside, you can hide chunks of cucumber and tomato in their bedding. They like jingle balls and places to hide.

to edit, i buy pet disinfectant from wilkinsons. But anything designed for them will be fine :)

i don't know how to get your cage disinfected but my guinea pigs LOVE toilet paper rolls, but it depends if your guinea pig is big because my 2 are little and can get inside the roll and like to run through it.  but a bigger pig might have fun with it too, seriously i would seguest getting another one though

My 7yrs old pig loves the bird toy we got him. It hangs from the cage top & is tube shaped with holes. We put baby carrots in it & he will spend hours reaching up to try to get the carrots. he also likes to sit in front of a dollar store mirror we got him, maybe he thinks it's another pig. He will 'talk' to the mirror. Also loves toilet paper rolls & paper coffee cups. Put the carrots, or oragne slices inside so he has to work to get at it. On nice days we put him outside in the garden with just the cage top over him & his house, but not in direct sun.
